Cargo Volume Rises at ATI Manila and Batangas Terminals

ATI Reports Strong Cargo Growth, Projects Continued Rise in 2026

Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) expects continued cargo growth in 2026 after posting strong double-digit increases in container volumes at its Manila South Harbor and Batangas Container Terminal in 2025. Manila South Harbor handled 1.463 million TEUs last year, up 13% from 2024, while Batangas Container Terminal processed 307,000 TEUs, a 14% increase and its second-highest annual throughput since 2019.

For 2026, ATI projects a 4% rise in Manila South Harbor volumes driven mainly by sustained import demand, while Batangas is expected to achieve another double-digit increase due to larger vessels and more South Luzon locators shifting cargo through the terminal.
