CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B Opens, Transforming Metro Manila Logistics

The opening of the 7.7-kilometer CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B connects the Manila-Cavite Expressway directly to C5 Road in Taguig City, cutting trips that used to take 1.5 hours down to just 15 minutes. Logistics and freight companies report lower fuel consumption, more predictable delivery schedules, and reduced physical exhaustion for truck drivers by bypassing gridlocked inner-city roads.

The road currently operates under a temporary two-lane setup per direction while authorities finish acquiring the remaining right-of-way land. Efficiency is expected to improve further once the final six-lane design opens to full capacity.
