Anti-Fraud Notice

How to verify a genuine communication from The Mills Global, and what to do if you suspect fraud or impersonation.

Last reviewed: [Insert publication date]

Why this notice exists

Customs, freight and shipment-release communications are a common target for impersonation scams: fake release notices, fake demurrage or "urgent payment" requests, and lookalike email addresses. This notice explains how to confirm you’re actually dealing with The Mills Global.

How to verify a genuine communication

Official communications from The Mills Global come only from an @themillsglobal.com email address or the phone numbers listed on this website’s Contact page. The Mills will never ask you to make an urgent payment to an unfamiliar personal account, or to a bank account not previously confirmed in writing for your engagement.

Reporting suspected fraud

If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from The Mills Global, forward it to inquiry@themillsglobal.com and avoid clicking any links or making any payment until it is verified. This page is a working draft. Insert verified corporate, licensing and legal details, and complete a full legal review, before this page is relied upon or published for real users.
